We work in the cloud, so a good understanding Microsoft 365, Xero, QuickBooks, and Receipt Bank will be a basic requirement. Teamwork requires organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills; therefore, you will need to have the ability to work to daily and monthly deadlines and have a good eye for detail.

Job Roles:


Firstly, there is the Apprentice or trainee accountant who works alongside and supports the assistant accountant. Part of their role is to monitor receipt bank transactions, categorising and processing daily receipts into Xero or QuickBooks. Other duties will include general bookkeeping and bank reconciliations as well as various other tasks that support their ongoing studies.

Assistant Accountant

The assistant accountant works alongside the senior accountant providing support with VAT preparation, Payroll and preparing accounts to trial balance. A good level of customer service skills is needed for this role because there is a lot of interaction with clients.

Senior Accountant

The main role of the senior accountant is to produce the final accounts, tax returns and work closely with clients providing support in all technical aspects of the accounting function of their business.

Administration & Payroll

Administration and payroll assistants will take care of the day to day admin tasks for the office and team. They are an essential part of the client managing process from onboarding through to updating client files and payroll.
